A fire, which was started by lightning on June 5, destroyed several tanks of salt water at a storage location in McKenzie County, ND, which is operated by Missouri Basin Well Service.

The company said 13 tanks of brine containing 3,407 barrels were released when the fire destroyed ten 400-barrel tanks and three 500-barrel tanks at the Hydro Clear SWD 1 in Sec. 27, T152N-R99W.

Most of the salt water was contained on location.
Cleanup was delayed because of the remaining hot spots from the fire.
