High Bidding For Campbell County Leases At BLM Sale
Campbell County, WY dominated the high bidding at the Wyoming BLM oil and gas lease sale Sept. 21 in Cheyenne, which brought in bonuses totaling $38.7 million for leases on 106,687 acres.
The highest bonus came from Maurice W. Brown Oil and Gas LLC of Cheyenne, paying $16,851/acre for 41 acres totaling $707,742 in Sec. 33, T43N-R73W.
High bidders were Navigation Powder River LLC of Houston, which paid $16,001 an acre for 161 acres in Sec. 21, T42N-R73W; Brown paid $15,001 per acre for 165 acres in Sec. 8, T22N-R73W.
Brown came in with the highest bid of $12,001 per acre for 286 acres in sections 15 and 32, T43N-R73W, while Titan Exploration LLC of New York paid $12,501 per acre for 160 acres in Sec. 28, T42N-R73W.
Titan was also high bidder, at $6,661 per acre, for 40 acres in Sec. 14, T41N-R74W. It also paid $4,362 per acre for 400 acres in sections 1, 2, and 3, in T42-R76W.
Cross Bow LLC of Denver paid $5,302 an acre for 326 acres in Sec. 1, T36N-R75.
In Converse County, Balidor Oil and Gas LLC of Houston came in with a high bid of $7,101 per acre for 160 acres in sections 21 and 22, T35N-R68W. Baseline Minerals Inc. of Lakewood, CO paid $1,502/acre for 201 acres in sections 31 and 32, T38N-R75W.
